Simple Blackberry Lemonade Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 3–4 lemons)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 3 cups cold water
- Ice
- Optional: lemon slices and extra blackberries for garnish
Step 1: Blend the Berries
Add the blackberries and 1/2 cup of water to a blender. Blend until smooth.
(Optional: Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother drink without seeds.)
Step 2: Mix It All Together
In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, blackberry puree, honey (or maple syrup), and remaining 2 1/2 cups of cold water. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed and the sweetener is fully dissolved.
Step 3: Chill and Serve
Add ice to your pitcher or serve over ice in individual glasses.
Garnish with lemon slices, fresh blackberries, or a sprig of mint if you’re feeling fancy!
